I took my NCLEX exam today (June 19, 2018 at 8am). I had 94 q's, a lot of SATA and Leadership q's. After receiving my email saying I completed the exam (about 30 mins later), I did the PVT trick. I got the "good pop up" but I'm so nervous! Will update when I get my quick results.
Tested at noon on 25th also as an international nurse who graduated in 2012.
Test shut off at 75 questions and I was glad because I was starting to get hungry for some reason:yes:. Spent roughly 1hr 50mins on the 75Q then had to do the experimental questions followed by 16 survey questions.
Did the PVT after I received the mail acknowledgment mail from Pearson and got the good pop up. That calmed me down because a friend tested before me and didn't pass(also at 75:artist:).
Anyways am grateful to God for this community because you guys were part of my support system. That's why I decided to figure out how to post on the blog so it an hopefully encourage another person.
#fingerscrossed.....I trust that God will complete what he has started in my life so I have zero worries( or at least trying to:o)
I am officially a RN. The Pearson Vue Trick worked for me. As stated before, I live in CA and there are no quick results. However, less than 48 hours after my exam my name and license number are on the California Board of Registered Nursing's website!
My advice to those taking the exam soon: 1. Go for it. The longer you wait, the more anxiety and other people's perception of the test are going to cloud your judgement. 2. UWorld prepared me well for this exam as well as nursing school. From day one they have been training us how to take this exam. 3. Do whatever you need to do to go into that testing room with calm nerves and a clear mind!
I took my NCLEX today @ 12:15; my exam shut off @ 75 questions, and it took me about an hour & a half. I spent my time reading each question and making sure I was satisfied with my answers. Throughout my exam, I didn't look to see what question I was on or how much time had passed until I got to my 75th question haha. I had maybe 5-6 SATA & one drag & drop. I did the PVT an hour after my exam & 3 hours after & got the "good pop up" both times. I think I'll do it one more time & wait for my quick results.
I used Uworld only & completed around 1300 questions. I guess we'll see in 48 hours if it was effective or not!

Not that this is 100% reliable, I have now tried the Pearson Vue trick 6 hours after my exam and got the "good pop up." I still need to see some license numbers before I start celebrating but this will help me stay a little more calm the next few days as I wait for official results :)
