NCLEX July 20th in CA, still no results

I hear you my dear! I'm in Cali also. I took the NCLEX in June 25th to find out a few days ago that my results are pending because the BRN didn't get my transcript for a pre-requisite class. As of today, still no official result. The BRN is telling me that it will take them 4 weeks to process my transcript!!!!!! :dead: ... I just gave up. The stress is not going to take me anywhere. This is my advice:

1. Do the pearson vue trick (It's not official but it will help calm down your nerves!)

2. Call the BRN to make sure they got all your transcripts (PreReqs and Core Nursing classes with posted ADN Degree)

3. Call the BRN between 0800 and 0830 and wait whatever time it takes to get someone...Do not bother sending an email.

4. Please do not forget to update!! I will appreciate.

Did you hear anything about the meaning of having a current IP long after taking the NCLEX? I was debating this with a friend, because to my understanding weither you pass or not, the IP is expired once you take the NCLEX.

Called the BRN today and could barely understand the lady on the line :no:

Claimed it would take 3 weeks regardless but asked me for my social security and name

She looked at my application and asked if my school sent all the transcripts..... which they did

then she randomly hung up on me!!!!!!!

Going to wait until next Monday to call again and make sure they have everything they need.

I went to other schools for prereqs before I went to the community college for the ADN

but the school i graduated from was the only one who sent transcripts with my degree posted.... I wonder if I should verify with them that I had all the proper documents

I know! Something definitely needs to be done regarding CA BRN issues. I'm reading too many complains in here! Did you check with your school if they sent your prerequisites to the BRN? Because mine apparently didn't although they requested them from me twice (When I first applied and before graduation).

I'm pretty sure you passed! It's just a matter of time to get THAT LICENSE posted lol.

California BoN is notoriously slow: it does take weeks, anywhere from 3-6, to get official results from them. OP, your classmates could NOT have gotten response from the CA BoN in 48 hours; it is most likely that they checked the BrEZe website (consumer affairs site that lists names/license numbers for registered professionals).

If your classmates are certain they passed and have license numbers, this is how they found out...not from the BoN directly. THAT will take weeks. Have you looked there for yourself?

Finally another person in the same situation! :-/ I posted a thread a week ago with the same situation. I'm in CA, took nclex July 14, IP is still current, but no results are posted via breeze. Its been 2 weeks - nothing. First week after I called the BRN - automated message stating the BRN was closed due to a temporary emergency. The weekend after - another automated message stating the BRN was closed. I'm going to try and call again tomorrow at 8am. Will follow up if there's any pertinent information I can share.

What is the status of your application ak1990? My status says, "not submitted." I wonder if they are still processing my application. But I submitted my application in march. Transcripts have been sent and received by BRN, as well prior to receiving my att.

Yes, this sucks. It seems the students who don't have an IP have gotten their breeze results within 48hrs... And we haven't. I have no idea why... And have been guessing they're just backed up. í ½í¸í ½í¸í ½í¸

I was against the PVT trick --- but after a week and a half couldn't take it anymore and tried it with a visa gift card I had. I got the "good pop-up" that people have identified it as... But didn't jump for joy because - its not official results and isn't 100% reliable.

I had to wait almost a month. BRN lost my transcript. It took a lot of effort to find out they didnt have my transcript.

I called today. If my results are not up, my application is still pending. They asked about my transcripts and said my transcripts were not processed and to resend them in case. My transcripts were sent by my school early June. I called before and they told me they received my transcripts then, but now I may need to resend them, which I'll do. It'll take another 4-6 weeks from when BRN receives it to process. This sucks.

I cross my t's, dot my I's and send my application and everything early compared to my classmates... And all my stuff is still, "processing." OK. That's enough complaining. Haha.

So we wait, more! Oh and she also said, when I find out official results via mail that's when I will receive my license IF I passed, which could be I dk how many more weeks. I'm confused, all I know is I have to wait some more.

Hi there, I took my Nclex-PN on Thursday Sept 29th, 2016 and I don't wanna see if the PVT works or not... I think I will only stress myself out more and feel like crap! I'm curious if anyone has ever tried going onto the BREEZE website, logging in and tried re-applying for the application and have gotten an error message saying "You are unable to apply for this exam due to the following"??? What does this mean? Do you have to wait for official results before the BREEZE will allow you to re-apply if you failed or is this a good sign that I can't re-apply cause I passed? I'm so crazy right now... Ughhh.... Please anyone have any insight to this; or maybe its just too soon to re-apply being it's only been 2 days, I don't know what to think...PLEASE HELP!!!!
