Hi everyone,
I am a student from the U.S. and after I graduate nursing school I will be doing some traveling after I graduate for a month or two. I was wondering if anyone knew if I were to take the NCLEX in another country does it transfer to the U.S.? Do they have them in english? Or is this just a crazy idea and I should wait until I come back home? It would be very convenient if I did it while traveling so I could stay abroad a bit longer. Has anyone ever done something like this? Thanks so much!

Canada is the only place right now, but the NCSBN just announced three countries that will have this option soon. England is one.
Pearson VUE - ALERT!
Thank you for letting me know! That's very exciting to hear. Hopefully they will have that all completed by September 2019!

There are certain Pearsonvue centres abroad that you can sit NCLEX however you need to register with a state first and get ATT. Sitting outside the US usually means an extra fee with Pearsonvue but other fees will be as per the state website
