I am from Ontario, Canada. I graduated from my RN program in October 2019. I have taken the NCLEX 7 times trying to pass and still have not. For the past year I have been working with a tutor since I have been out of school for awhile to try to pass this exam. On August 31, 2022 I received an email that my evidence of practise has expired and the CNO is requiring me to get 400 clinical hours and take some courses. I am at a loss of words and I feel so defeated. I was going to take my NCLEX again at the end of September but now IDK what to do. Can I still write my NCLEX? What does the evidence of practise stop me from doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be calling CNO on Tuesday for further information. I just feel defeated and really want to work as an RN. Thank you!!

I'm so sorry to hear that.
The CNO website laid out some options to show evidence of nursing practice. I would be so mad to go back to school. I have read about CNO's Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (the program), may be this is an option for you.
I did the Bridging program and had some RN schoolmate for the refresher course. I first graduated with RPN and never had the RPN job until the end of 3rd year. But I also did some PSW jobs while back in school.
