I scheduled my NCLEX for July 20th, five days before I am to begin my new job. This has got to be the worst test anxiety I have ever had and it is still a few weeks away. All my friends from school have scheduled theirs for the next few weeks and I am terribly nervous that I am just putting mine off to stall for time. I study about 2 hours a day, and am really forcing myself to put effort into my study habits, but no matter how hard I study I still have zero confidence in myself. Should I reschedule my exam to try to take it sooner? Or would any of you recommend just keeping it where it is? I want all of this to be over with already, preferably with a favorable outcome...........any suggestions????

Hi! I felt the same way-I was really, really nervous for my NCLEX I just took (and passed!!!! am still excited!!!) last Friday. It is totally up to you if you want to try to take it sooner. I kept trying to take it sooner but there were never free spots in my area that opened up so I had to just stick to my date. I would do whatever will make you less nervous. If you feel totally ready now for it and want to do it already, try to take it sooner. If you feel like you need to study more, then stick with your date. Just go with how you feel. I scheduled my July 1 date on June 9 and was convinced it would never get here....but it came pretty quick! Good luck to you!! :) And oh yeah, your NCLEX date is when I will start orientation for my new RN job!!! How funny! :)
