NCLEX daily accountability...fellow encouragers needed

Published

I saw this on the other thread and wanted to start one too!

So I'm one of those delinquents who really should have taken the NCLEX sooner (graduated this past may) but due to various reasons haven't yet, but finally got to schedule it and the big day is in 72 days...if I don't start studying now will definitely fail so wanted to do an accountability thread!

I usually do well with standardized tests but the NCLEX is freaking me out and I could really use some encouragements or if anyone else is in the same boat in having to take it soon?

Here are the list of the materials that I'm using for the NCLEX

Kaplan's NCLEX-RN strategies, practice and review 2011-2012

Davis's Q&A for the NCLEX-RN examination

LaCharity's Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment, 2e

NCLEX-RN review made incredibly easy

Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN 4e

I got these from the suggestions I saw on this forum, anyone else would recommend anything else that has been extremely helpful? I feel that I'm not very good in the area with phamarcology and pathphysiology of diseases...

I'm going to try to do at least 40 questions a day and post a video on a topic area that's going to be covered on the nclex so just praying all these will help me to pass!

I'm trying to get some materials organized for myself

Broke down today and got Hurst's Online Review, watched the introduction for the online review. Love Hurst's sense of humor and her accent is amazingly awesome!

Hi! I'm glad I'm not alone! I too graduated in may and with moving to another country and all and having kids I am scared to take the nclex. I haven't really started studying either which I'm going to do now. I really need to stay focus which is hard for me to do right now for some reason but I'm ready to get this started! I'm not working now so I should not have a problem but just my mind needs to focus on the goal. Lets do this together! I don't have a date yet though. Where r u from?
