Hello. I never contacted them. What I did was not advisable: I registered to PearsonVue before I got the mail (which was a couple of months). I was fortunate that I got my eligibility earlier than most which was about 6-7 weeks since i sent my papers. Others are not as lucky.

Some of my friends and people here who applied to CA BRN received their eligibility in 4-6 months.

yeah, you're lucky.. Anyway, thanks for the reply.. but should I contact them to ask if they have received my application and fee? Someone told me that the BON will send an email to confirm that they have received your application.. is it true? thank you...

I just checked my archived emails for you. I'm sorry, I didn't receive that kind of message from the BON. Suzanne knows more about this. All I have are email messages from PearsonVue regarding ATT and scheduling and rescheduling of examination.

If you try to write CA BON, you will have to wait for their reply. I wrote them about something a few weeks ago, I've got no replies until now. PearsonVue is the one who replies fast. hehe

CA does not do anything with the NCLEX exam, so no confirmation from them in the first place specific to the exam. They will notify you when you meet the requirements for licensure except for writing of the licensing exam.

They do not do anything about any confirmation with the exam. And for each person that contacts them, then it is only longer for those to get their approval to sit for the exam. There is only a specific number of staff and if they have to respond to each that just want to know when their file will be complete, then nothing will get done.

My advise for you is definitely call them an find out about your application.

I called them two times and first time I found out that some document was missing. Of cause I faxed it immediatly. The second time I found out that I can already set the date of the exam and I wasn't notified.

Mine calling them definitely helped and I didn't have to wait for months.
