NCLEX, CGFNS & NCLEX Endorsement, visa screen questions...

Published

Hi all!

I just have some questions regarding the above issues. I've submitted my requirements to Saipan and took the NCLEX for it. Unfortulately, I wasn't able to reach the passing standard. In a few months, I'll be joining my husband in Iowa as a dependent (H4 visa). Here are my questions:

a. Do I need to resubmit all the stuff that I submitted to Saipan in the first place if I would take the NCLEX in Iowa (as a test center) and still take NCLEX for Saipan?

b. I'm aware that the state of Iowa needed the CGFNS but Saipan does not. Does it mean that I can't endorse my NCLEX Saipan to Iowa if I don't take the CGFNS?

c. I'll be having a change of status someday when my husband gets his greencard...and I'm aware that a visa screen certificate specific to the state of residence is needed. Among the requirements is a Credential Evaluation. Does it need to be through CGFNS? Coz there are other companies offering much lower prices.

I know I have a bunch of questions  But I really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Just asking! I already passed my documents and requirements for visa screen to ichp before my ielts expires. And i checked my cgfns account and it confirmed that they recieved all the necessary documents and payment, and it says certificate:waiting for approval. How many days will the ichp releases visa screen? And are they going to continue reviewing such documents even my ielts expires? Thank you!

Your IELTS needs to be in date on the date they look at your file. How long have you got left on IELTS? on average takes 4 months from start to VSC being issued

i already passed both the NCLEX (NY) and IELTS but i do not have an agency/employer. i was planning to get a visa screen just so i won't have to worry about my ielts expiring. is it ok for me to do so or do i need an employer? there's a question in the application form about the purpose of the VS, i don't know what to check. help pls :)

To be honest I would hang off getting vsc until you have employer and your IELTS is going to expire (about 6 months before it expires)

You do not need a employer to get vsc
