I am just now in school, but would like to get a really good NCLEX book to start looking thru and preparing myself. There are so many, does anyone have a suggestion on one? Or one that you found that wasn't that great? Also, I saw a book called NCLEX PN Made Incredibly Easy - anyone used this one?

I borrowed books and looked for used books to buy. I studied out of 4 different ones, but what really prepared me was the hands on learning I did in school. I left the testing room with no confidence that I passed, but I did. Just use common sense, know your priorities and dosages calculations and what classes of medications go with what diagnosis. You'll do great. Good luck.:)

Saunder's is by far the best NCLEX book I've seen. It's the second edition...it has a red cover. I've used it all throughout the program and it's helped tremendously.

I used the Saunders second edition book(red cover), and I thought it was a great help. I also used PN review cards by Lippincott. They are great! Here is the information on them. :)
1-58255-299-1: Springhouse NCLEX-PN Review Cards: full description
This card deck provides more than 200 review questions for the five nursing areas covered in the NCLEX-PN--fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric-mental health nursing, maternal-neonatal nursing, and pediatric nursing--plus a comprehensive test of 85 questions in random order. Each card has an NCLEX-style question on the front and the correct answer and rationale on the back.
The Third Edition includes new NCLEX alternative item format questions that require students to select more than one correct response, fill in the blank, or identify an area on a picture. The cards are now shrink-wrapped with a hole punch and ring.
