hi! i'd appreciate if anyone can tell me which states release the att faster and, how would i know which states have reciprocity option with the state that i'll be taking the exam in?
i heard that california releases its att in 6-8 months. on the other hand, wisconsin releases in 2 months. can you guys please tell me if texas can have reciprocity with wisconsin? say i am licensed in wisconsin, and just assuming that it has no reciprocity with texas, where i wish to settle, what can be done to be licensed in texas?
thanks and regards to everyone!
this is my 2nd post of exactly the same questions. i did not get any reply the first time. how would i know if i actually get a reply to my questions, do i get an email or any sort of advise? thanks. i really hope anyone this time would bother to spend a little of his/her time to address my concerns.

States do not release the ATT in the first place, they are sent out by Pearson-Vue once you have paid for the exam, and they have received permission from the BON to release it.
There is actually not an application for the NCLEX exam, you will not find one anywhere, you will be applying for licensure to a BON and you need their approval to even be able to sit for the exam.
And for the next part of your question:
The NCLEX exam results have reciprocity, but licenses do not. You will need to apply and meet the requirements of the new state. Not all curriculums are accepted by all.
And in the future, we ask that you post the same thing only one time and wait for an answer. If you would have taken the time to do some reading, you would have been able to find answers to exactly what you are looking for.
You need to take the time to do some reading on this forum. And find out why CA is never recommended for initial licensure. There is a retrogression in place, and you are looking at five years or so for a chance at a green card, and I mean chance. And the letter that comes with the passing of the NCLEX for CA is only good for three years and then your file is destroyed. So what are you going to do then?
Definitely, please take the time to do some reading here. And if it is a question having to do with licensure or immigration, then we request that you place it here under the International Forum. That may be the reason that you did not get an answer to your other post.
When someone responds to your post, you will see it just under the one that you made, just like here.
But the other post no longer exists, as it is a duplicate of this one and we do not permit that here.
Please take the time to do some reading here as well as have a good look at the tutorials on how to use the forums here to your adavantage. And also we ask that you place your threads under the appropriate forum. Many others here have no idea of what is required to work in the US as a foreign nurse.

Thanks so much for your time suzanne. I certainly learned a lot from your concise answers.
Glad that you did. There is so much more to working in the US than just passing of the NCLEX exam.
And if you are writing it for CA, be aware that they will not be issuing a license to you until you are in the US on a visa that will permit you to work and you are able to get a SSN#. And if CA, suggest that you have a good read here as the passing letter is only good for three years and then your file is destroyed.
You can read more about that in the other threads on that topic.
