Hello,
Just wondering how long those who have prior conviction wait to get their ATTs for California. I have one dismissed and expunged misdemeanor from 8 years ago. I submitted all certified documents and letters with my application. thank you.

Hey have you heard anything from the BRN? My classmates are being approved and I have yet to, I also had an expunged misdemeanor that was from 6 years ago & I need to test as soon as possible due to a job offer. Hope you heard something, good luck!
Hi, yes I just got my application cleared and approved today. when did you apply? did you submit all the certified documents?
Congratulations! About how long after your classmates w no convictions did it take? I did I submitted everything the docket (showing its expunged), my letters of rec, my letter all that. I submitted my application May 26th but my school didn’t send out transcripts till June 24th
It was about 3-4 weeks wait, my class got their ATTs on 6/10. I know the enforcement department has 4 weeks to process applicants with prior convictions. my class applied on 5/8, school sent transcripts on 5/29. most applications approved on 6/10. mine approved on 7/17. it is a bit of a process because they send files with convictions to enforcement and once its approved enforcement sends it back to licensing so its a back and forth process. my case was also expunged from my record. hope this helps.

? WOW! that makes me so sad. My school didn’t give us that time line at all even with convictions & I’m supposed to have my license by the first for an amazing job that I’ve secured & I don’t think that’s realistic with the time line you’re saying. I’m flying to Sacramento tomorrow to talk with them in person ? I feel like I have nothing else to lose
Thank you for taking the time to respond though. & good luck on taking your NCLEX. Was it hard to study without a test date? I feel like I’m so lost now my crazy study schedule is like diminishing
I understand the frustration. thats exactly how I felt too. I started to study for NCLEX after graduation and when I found out my application may take much longer I stopped studying. I just didn't have the motivation to study anymore. now that my application is approved im getting back into studying.
I don't think the BRN office is open, when I called few times I was told they were working remotely from their homes. I would call to make sure office is open before going there. if your school sent your transcripts until 6/24 I don't expect them to approve your class until end of this month and add few more weeks for you since you had a prior conviction. im guessing your application will get cleared by end of August. everything at BRN is a long process. my application cleared Friday 7/17 I paid the Pearson fee and now just waiting on my ATT to be emailed hopefully tomorrow.

How long after enforcement approved your application did it take for licensing to approve you? I just got cleared with enforcement today so I’m praying I can get cleared with licensing within the next few days considering everything else is accounted for

I think 2 days later licensing got my file back and they took 4 days to update breeze. so I would say give it one week from today.
