NCLEX Anxiety

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

So I got a 74% chance of passing NCLEX on my first try with the ATI Comprehensive Predictor. I take my exam on July 7th. I have 5 NCLEX qbank apps that I have been using religiously and doing a countless amount of questions a day. I bought a Kaplan NCLEX-PN Strategies book that I am reading, utilizing the ATI website, various ATI books purchased during my nursing school program, and also the NCSBN website. All I think about all day is NCLEX and studying..doing questions..I can't sleep, and I can hardly function because this exam and fear of the unknown and the anxiety is getting to me. Any advice or tips on what more I could be doing would be appreciated IMMENSELY. Thank you in advance!

First off, don't forget to breathe! There are a ton of questions that the NCLEX can ask you covering many different subjects. You won't be able to learn everything, so don't try. Instead, you'd be better off understanding the rationales for the answers. The more familiar you are with that, the better you'll do.

My school used ATI for the last time this year because they found it is not good prep. I used Kaplan and a lot of others here used Hurst. Saunders is another resource that everyone here, including myself, found helpful for content. Try the Kaplan predictor, and you can always reschedule if you aren't ready. I would not take it with a 74% chance, take another predictor a few days before and reschedule if needed.
