Hi all!
I've recently graduated from nursing school (Dec. 2013), and am scheduled to take NCLEX on the 27th. I did well on my HESI Exit exam, (over a 900). I wasn't able to do the Kaplan NCLEX review, due to the cost, but I was able to do the ElSevier NCLEX review through my school. I also paid for the NCSBN 3 week course, and have been using it since the 2nd of this month. I also have a study guide I'm using, as well as Lippincott NCLEX RN Q's.
I'm not doing well on questions, and anxiety, discouragement and fear are already starting to get to me, badly. I am tearful, and worried.. I don't need to elaborate, because I am sure there are many of you that feel/felt the same way.. You KNOW what I'm talking about! :)
Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone with similar experiences?? I'm frustrated.. and need direction.. Thanks all.

I would suggest doing 200 questions a day for a week straight before your test. If you schedule your test at 8am for example. Wake up every day at 8am for a week and do 200 questions. Therefore, it will condition you to be ready for testing at 8am. When test day comes, you'll just be able to think of it as another test. This is what I've done and I passed NCLEX the first time. Of course, the day before your test, don't do any studying. Go out, relax, watch a movie & have fun.

I agree with USCrn.
I used the Kaplan book to study & when I took practice questions after each chapter I had the strategies by my side to use (so I can get used to it) studying and using the strategies and learning HOW to take the test made all the difference for me.
The day before my exam, I sat myself down, gave myself 6 hours and took a 265 Q exam with breaks in between to mimic the actual exam.
I also downloaded a NCLEX review audio book on audible for free for the days where I couldn't read another word or while I was cooking.
Good luck!
