Hi everyone! I recently applied to ncc spring 2020 program. Does anyone know when the acceptance letters are going out?
Hey guys, how are you? How was everyones first semester. Hope everyone is well especially with everything thats going on. I feel like a support group should exist of some sort. A group text or a facebook group. IDK if it exists already and I just dont know about you but I feel like I'm in this alone and I know I'm not. If anyone wants to chat and be friends while in this program I'm available. Heres my email [email protected]. You can def reach out!
My name is Gusthy by the way! Hopefully we can start a group of some sort for our class!

So only the courses that apply to the nursing program will count... Eng 1&2, Statistics, psych 1&2, Bio ethics, Micro, Patho, and A&P 1&2. Depending on what grade you made in the class will determine your score: A =4.0; A- =3.75; B+= 3.5; B=3.0; B- =2.75; C+ = 2.5; C = 2.0. You then have to calculate the grade you have by the amount of credits per class. Let's say you got an A in anatomy 1, that is a 4 credit course so it would be 4.0×4= 16 points. Another example if you get a B+ in Anatomy 2, that is still a 4 credit course, so 3.5×4= 14 points. Of course the more courses you have the better. Plus 10 points for Nassau residents and 5 points for never failing a nursing program. Then you have your teas, I dont have the exact break down of the numbers but I attached a pic it's not 100% accurate but it is similar. Proficient =5, advanced =10 points, and exemplary =15 points. Just add up all your scores and that's how you would determine your score. Hope this helps and good luck.
