Navy Orders?

Published

Anyone else having a heck of a time getting Navy orders? I was told my ODS date and first duty station, but nearly a week later, still no orders. I just want to be able to give 2 weeks notice....

Understand, in by law all you have to do is give tell your employer verbally. But it does make it easier with the paperwork. Have you recieved any paperwork from your recruiter telling you that you have been picked up? If you have you could use it when you fill out your paperwork with your employer.

Just my final select letter. No dates are on it though.

at least it is something if it comes down to you having to leave and to recieve your orders once you get there. Not the best choice. See if your recruiter can write a letter with the dates at least it could be a fall back too.

I just went thru the website that I sent you and if you hit the continue button twice it will link you with a advisor who can give you better answers then I can.

Im currently waiting to hear back in regards to the Board -- how long did it take for you guys to hear that you were in once your kit went to the Board?? Thanks!

My packet went to board on a Thursday and I believe I heard back the following week. However, my Select letter and commissioning documents took almost a month to generate after I found out.
