2010 Navy ODS Class

I'm in the NCP (Nurse Candidate Program) and will be graduating from nursing school at the end of the year and wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about when they're supposed to be leaving for ODS in Rhode Island.

Also, has anyone gotten their orders yet from your detailer?

I spoke with my detailer today and he said he could get me into my first pick (San Diego) and that I could go to ODS at the end of January...

Everything turned out great my name needs to change navymurse lol. But seriously people dropped out and I found out that I was in around may or June signe on the dotted line in July and went to Ods in august. It may be sooner for you since you're first on the list but then again people nay not drop for this year job market and economic situation can play a part in it all

Glad to hear things went well . I hope you are enjoying navy life. I dont graduate until may of 2012 so it would be while before I go anywhere. Hopefully I will hear something soon!!!!

Just letting you know that you can usually take the NCLEX after the date of your "official end of semester" which may be sooner than your graduation date....just a little info if you wanted to take it a little earlier.
