I really want to join the Navy as a nurse and I will be talking to a recruiter next month. I am very nervous that I might be turned away do to having Crohn's disease. I have had it since I was 8 years old and have been very fortunate to be able to keep it under control, and I'm not sure if the medical history qualifications for navy nurses are the same as for everyone else. So I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge, information or advice for me.

Check out this site....It will give you an idea of what could be a DQ-ing illness or disease. Who knows, you might be able to get a waiver for it.
Good Luck
