Navy NCP Fy 2018

Hello! I am a nursing student applying to the Navy NCP program this summer for fy 18. I have not been able to find any threads on fy 18 application. Is there anyone on here applying??

Hi,

congratulations on summiting your package, I know it was a very long process. I summited mine a week ago.

The commutative GPA that they got after they averaged out all my college classes was 3.73. In the other hand my nursing GPA is 3.87.

Hey everyone! Has anyone heard from their recruiter when selection would be? Mine told me sometime in October but I had been working on my package since May so I feel like its been so long! The suspense is killing me!

From my understanding, the board convenes this month sometime and we should find out decisions by Nov! Eeeeek!

Hey everyone!

The suspense has been killing me as well. My recruiter as well said we'd hear something mid-late October, but frankly from the patterns of previous years, I'm preparing myself to hear back in Novemeber-it is truly driving me bonkers.

My total GPA is a 4.0, but I'm still just nervous. This has been a dream of mine since high school and I'm just hoping and praying the hard work I've put in will pay off. I wish you all who have applied the best of luck!

Hey guys!

I submitted a packet for FY 2018. Does anyone know when we are supposed to find out? I feel like I've been waiting forever and I'm just ready to find out already...

The answer varies with each recruiter, but the general consensus is sometime in November. However, I'm always hopeful for a sooner rather than later announcement. If I'm not studying or at the hospital, my mind becomes fixated on the question of when we'll find out, so I'm pretty ready/anxious to find out as well.

Ahhh! I'm just SO ready to find out, hoping for the best! My recruiter said I wouldn't hear anything till about December so fingers crossed it's actually November! Best of luck to you.

I'm waiting for a response too. I looked back at the forums for the last two years and people were saying that they got their response in the second to third week of Nov. So hopefully only 3-4 more weeks of waiting.

The closer we get to November, the harder it gets to wait! Lol! I'm on Facebook more than this site. I was thinking about making a Facebook group for the FY18 applicants so we can chat and see when people start receiving decisions. Would anyone be into that at all?
