Navy NCP August or September 2011 Board

Does anyone know when the board will meet again for Navy NCP selections? They began accepting new kits August 1, 2011.

Specializes in Psych, Maternity, ER, Ortho.

I tried to get mine in on Aug 1st too, but held up by paperwork! Good luck to everyone applying. :)

My recruiter says Mid Sept is when the results will be posted for August 1st applicants.

My recruiter said the board is currently finishing up with this year's direct accessions. he wasn't sure when they would start with NCP candidates. Good luck everybody!

My packet was submitted Aug 1st and I still haven't heard back. Has anyone else?

Quick update from my end. My kit was submitted in August, but was pushed back to October. Their reason was August wasn't for FY12. Same old story though, what you think is good, really isn't, which just equals updating forms and the true test of hurrying up and waiting. Hang in there everyone.

If you guys have a chance, you should read Navymm1's posts. He/She says the most accurate and reliable info regarding commissioning in the Navy.

my recruiter told me yesterday that the ncp board met this week but they will probably not release results for 3 - 4 weeks. i would assume if your recruiter got your ncp package to the project manager than you were reviewed during this week’s board. good luck!

I was just told by my recruiter that NCP has been cancelled for this fiscal year. Anyone else hear that?
