Navy/AF PMHNP

Any of you here? I'm starting my PMHNP program next year and am considering joining.

I am wondering firstly, if the navy/AF even takes new grad NP's?

How do you like it? What is your day to day life?

Where are you stationed?

What are the FIRST duty station choices like?

My husband was in the Navy for 14 years, recently separated, and we are kind of missing the life so I'm considering joining myself. Would I be better to join now, before PMHNP, and go to a program while in the Navy or AF?

The military is transitioning its NPs to the DNP level, so an MSN might not be preferred.
