im new to this site and considering joining the navy upon graduation... ive been reading up on advancement and was wondering if it is possible for a navy nurse to make it past O4 and if so how would one go upon doing that?

In all branches it is possible for those of the 'nurse corp' to become generals and YES passed 04.
At this point I would say in your military job you just do well and more importantly 'don't make a huge mistake' over time it will be very easy to make 04 as a successful officer.
