I was going to take a travel job working in Shiprock NM in Navajo Nation in the ED.....but i cancelled out...always wondered what it would have been like. I think it would be a very interesting assignment. Maybe I might re-consider someday. Would love to hear experiences of any nurses who have worked on the res...................

What kinds of nurse to patient ratios have you all seen in IHS hospitals? Does it tend to be better or worse than non-IHS hospitals? I'm wondering how IHS would be for a new grad.
