National University SD Cohort 39

Published

Hello, Im creating a thread for those who are applying to National University SD cohort 39 starting july 2014. I figured we can all post our experience through this process of applying.

Congrats Kris and everybody that got accepted.

Thanks!! i had a 4.0 and 77.3 on teas, If you reapply do you have to take those additional classes?

Not sure yet, I have to email JJ about that.

I had around a 3.2 and 84% on the teas

Specializes in Telemetry, Med/Surg.

3.6 science GPA and I got an 88.7% on the TEAS

Thank you Diana and Caiterzlife.

I had 3.9 gpa and I actually only got a 72 on my teas. I applied as an absn so I'm not sure if that made a difference or not. Good luck with the alternate spot, you never know!

I got a 78% on my TEAS and have 3.4 GPA. My essay must have saved me!

Thank you onelanalove, My GPA is good. I have mostly A- and A's I just have one B+ in Micro Lab. I score a 78 on the TEAS. I guess I didn't do well enough on the essay. I will email JJ and ask him if I need to take those new course to reapply.

Hey Jackychan!

I have a 3.85 GPA and 90% on the TEAS. I wonder if the nursing dept. will let you know which alternate seat you are in, as that may affect your decision to drop your seat and apply for the next cohort. Best of luck!

Thank you Jenna

I'm also on the ABSN track since I have a BA in something else, but I really don't think that makes a difference. I'm pretty sure it all comes down to the points.

Jackychan, I think you have a good shot of being accepted as an alternate. Keep in mind that some students also applied to other schools, so they may accept a seat elsewhere. Good luck, and stay positive!
