Hi! I actually do have some info to help you through the weekend. I called and spoke to Margie at nursing yesterday and she told me that she just received back the last batch of essays from faculty. Over the next few days, she will finish calculating everyone's scores, choose the top 50, and then mail out the letters. She said that if I don't get anything by next Friday (3/4) to call/email her. Hope this helps! Post when you get your results!
Thank you thank you thank you for the info.. I've been trying to not call, but I was at my wits end!! I was going to ask what your stats were also. I think I'm in good shape, I got a 90.6 on the TEAS test (did you take 4 or 5) and my pre-req GPA is good..all As except one C ( which is a class that I got waived, so it's automatically counted as a C). I thought the essay went well, but who knows...did she tell you anything else?
I think you are doing well also..if I remember correctly from the forum I went to I think that your Teas score was right in there with the average..and with all As and Bs (we'll just forget Micro:)) and one attempt you should be fine. I am just eager to get going on this, I feel like I've been waiting forever! Do you have any more information about what our schedule potentially could look like? I was reviewing my notes but I can't remember how often we are in "class"...I feel like it's hurry and wait and then stress out to get everything ready! Thanks for your info so far.
Reading this post made me feel so happy! I am a prenursing student just starting NAU on March 9th. In KCMO. Right now I'm in the ASN program but planning to transfer into the ABSN! I'm just so happy to see a thread about NAU that is positive!
If you guys don't mind me asking, how difficult were your gen eds? I'm starting out with Human Growth and Sociology. I'm really excited to start school again! Congrats on both of your TEAS scores! :yelclap:
sdopem - I think we are in class 2 days a week and clinicals 2 days. They rotate every six weeks or so I believe.
KJlewis76 - The GE classes are intense because they are only 4-8 weeks, depending if they have a lab or not. With that being said, they are totally doable, as you only take one class at a time. Good luck to you both!!!

Hi Everyone!
I applied to National University's ABSN program. I took the TEAS and sat for the proctored essay in January, they said we'd hear back by the end of February...it's February 24th and I haven't heard anything. The suspense is killing me...has anyone heard anything? I haven't seen anyone post anything about National in a while, so I thought I'd start a new thread.
