Hey I wanted to start this thread, since one hasn't been created yet. 

I'm applying to this cohort. This will be my second attempt.

Math/Sci GPA 3.8

TEAS 88.7% (planning a retake before the application deadline)

They take the Top 40 applicants and have 10 alternates. Last time I received an interview, and was placed on the alternates list. But no one (or not enough people) dropped out of the program so I didn't make it in.

No. Last time it was at 11 days after the deadline. Today is day 12. But I know it can go until 14 days. What did you apply with?

That is true! I am giving it until this Friday. I have a 3.5 GPA and an 86.9% on TEAS. I have no professional nursing experience, but have taken care of family members that required similar skills. I hope it’s enough. What were your interview questions the last time you applied?

I just emailed them as I still have not heard anything. You?

 

honestly the interview was very nerve wrecking. If you miss it or are late they deny you. And I logged on at 9:00am for a 9:30interview. And they were backed up and didn’t get to my interview until 10:15am. I was terrified they missed me or I did something wrong logging in (virtual interview). I was emailing the nursing dept frantically. So just be aware that can happen. They asked why I wanted to be a nurse. And honestly I can’t remember what else. They have a very large bank of questions they pull from based on your previous work history so it’s different for everyone. I think they asked me why National university?

The feeling of just waiting for the interview email is already terrifying. I'm becoming so impatient. I have applied at cohort 69 but didn't get in ? 

 

Anyways, I hope we hear from them soon!

GPA: 3.63

TEAS: 94%

Any National University Alumni here? if you can share your experience with the program, pros and cons.... also for those who got it, what was your math and science GPA and TEAS?

Hi there! Wishing everyone goodluck with the process. Glad we have a thread going here! We’re all in this together.


I applied this cohort and got an interview this 03/16/22. 7 years plus experience and my stats were:

91.3% TEAS

3.5 GPA 

Pretty nervous about the interview! Any tips or questions that could help us get a feel of how it went?

just got my acceptance email!!

only had my interview two days ago, I thought it’d be a longer wait LOL
