I have recently applied for the BSN program at National University San Diego for Spring 2011. Has anyone else applied or in the program right now? Entry to the program has seemed to get more and more competitive..there were A LOT of people who applied for only 50 spots. I am hoping someone can give me an idea of what they are accepting..science gpa, TEAS scores, ect. My science gpa is average nothing special about 3.5 and my TEAS was 84.7%. I have no idea if this is good enough to get in  Im so nervous and just crossing my fingers. If anyone got into the program recently with these sort of scores/gpa please let me know...thnx

Well...did you get in yet??? I hope so!

Hi,

I just took the TEAS last Friday, along with the proctored essay. I'm also applying for Spring 2011. I believe my science GPA is 3.6 and I scored 88% on the TEAS. I had taken the TEAS for practice at SDSU, and the version I took at National was almost the same.

The proctor told us they would send out letters by the first week of February, mid February the latest. I think you are in good shape, MandyB, because most people I talked to after taking the TEAS scored in the 70's.

I'm just glad it's over with, I was planning to study over the holidays in Texas, now at least, I don't have to worry about it.

Anyway, good luck to you!

Has anyone heard from National at all? I'm going to wait another day or so, because now classes I would need once into the program start next week! Let me know if you hear anything, and I will post here as well once I get notified or further info.

Alright, after bugging the Nursing program office via e-mail and phone, the response from them is that they are working hard to send out the admissions notification letters by COB today (February 25th). They said they cannot give out the information via e-mail or phone, and to basically not bug them unless you haven't received your notification by next Friday (March 4th). I hope this helps. Good luck!

LOL hello isaiasg :) sorry it took a while to respond. Yes I did get into the program!! I will be starting in April..which by the sounds of it means you are certainly in good shape to get in too!! so just hold out for that acceptance letter (and yes they make you wait for the letter..but mine was pretty promt). Hope you hear the good news soon, and great job on the TEAS!!

Congrats! :) I expect that I'll know by this weekend at the latest. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
