I don't know about the rest of you but my nerves are shot, waiting to find out if I got in for the October cohort. Good luck to everyone that applied!

I think we may have even had less than 70 in ours applying of course I don't know for sure but the room we were in on the last day wasn't even full and we only had two days of testing for our cohort I was told.

Me too! We will def. need to post wether we got in when we find out! Our prompt I felt was easy. It was about how you are going to be successful in the program.

mine was what will you contribute to the nursing profession...

That doesn't sound too bad. I saw some really hard ones from previous cohorts. Like how is Nursing both a Science and Art... I would have had a harder time with that

Yes my friend got that one on the last day. I don't know what I would have written If I got it

Oh no! That sounds awful I would have been a wreck if I actually got that one. I feel lucky then for what I got.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when I heard it either. Well let me know when you hear something ok?

I hope there really is a smaller application pool! But it doesn't really matter if all 70 are super competitive- which is highly likely! I took the test on the last day, as well, but remember there were 2 rooms. They split us in half alphabetically by first name. I wonder if there are a lot of other students applying that didn't need to take the test the last day- like those re-applying or who did their tests elsewhere? The anticipation is killing me!

yes thats true ...what campus are you applying to?

tell me what you guys think of the grading of the essay. I have heard they care more about the structure over content. For example can you for a paragraph, thesis, stick to topic etc..

Hi SeannicoleLewis,

How did you calculate the essay to be out of 16? I lost my notes for the calculation worksheet.

The essay is out of 20. I just know what I got on TEAS to calculate points out of 40 you divide your score by 100 and multiply that by 40, then calculate your gpa, you can calculate the points you have thus far and estimate what you will need on essay to get near 85 points (which is most likely going to get you in).
