National University CRNA Interview

Nursing Students SRNA

Updated:   Published

So I got an interview for National University for CRNA school and I'm looking for some guidance. It says there is a writing portion and an ATI Critical Thinking test. Can anyone who has interviewed here give me advice or at least tell me what to expect? Also curious about the interview and the types of questions they ask as well as how detailed they expect you to be in you Financial Aid Presentation? Thank you!

We will receive an information packet in the mail about the next steps!

Anyone looking for roommates or apartment hunting :)?!?!?! or where is even a good place to start looking

Thanks!

See attached map. NU is located in the Riverpark/Woodward Park area. There are apartments close enough that you could bike to school. A quick search on Zillow shows 1 bedrooms anywhere from 1300-1600/mo. Rule of thumb, the further north you go in Fresno, the more expensive,

In the RiverPark area, there are Plenty of restaurants, groceries, Trader Joe’s, Target, Best Buy, Costco - typical big box stores. It’s a relatively safe area. Pinedale is a little area which can get sketchy at times. Some Great people but gang activity.

Hope this helps a bit

Hi Guys, for those of us who received the call and were accepted. What is the next step?

I received an envelope from NU yesterday detailing the next steps, so keep your eyes peeled. They are in transit!

Did any receive rejection/denial notice?

Congratulations to everyone who got in to CRNA school at National!

I am hoping to be apply in the future for their CRNA program! I currently live in the Fresno area but do not work in a Level 1 Trauma center ICU, would that be a big factor into whether or not I will get accepted (amongst other factors as well) ? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I think national was one of the schools I looked at and it’s one of the few that accept ER experience and PACU. It may have changed though. I think just the fact that you live in Fresno counts too. I think most schools want you to have a support system because CRNA program is tough. You won’t even have time to do your own laundry.

hi everyone, my name is Megan, I just got accepted to NU CRNA program and I am looking for a female roommate. My family is in Orange County so I will drive home quite often so you will have the entire place for yourself most of the times. I am looking forward to seeing all of the accepted students in January :)
