National University Cohort 63

Published

Hi all! I wanted to create a thread for Cohort 63 for application period Feb 2020. I’ve been a national student for almost 4 years. I’m taking my teas in December to hopefully score above 90 to be competitive. My GPA sits at a 3.5

Hey everyone! I’ve been keeping quiet in the background, trying to contain my excitement and anxiety throughout this process LOL! Best of luck to everyone today! I just checked my results & I got in!

To everyone else who got accepted, I look forward to meeting and working with you!

I came up as alternate

I got alternate as well. What exactly does that mean?

Me too.. If anyone knows more info about alternates?

I just made a facebook page! It's called "National University San Diego Nursing Cohort 63" and this is the picture on it!

This is the email I got from last cohort that has a little more information about alternates. I don’t know if they’ll change anything for this cohort but they’ll definitely send out an email with more information! Hopefully this helps!

@Brilynn so they don’t accept alternates into the next cohort like they used to do?

According to the email from last cohort no. The alternates I know of from the last cohort weren't garunteed acceptance into this cohort. I think they changed it when they switched over to interviews. But wait until they send out an email for this cohort to get the most current info!

From what I’m observing, most people that were placed on “alternate,” basically didn’t get accepted into cohort unless you know some people who did?
