Hi All, I want to start this thread to help us prepare and ask questions as the BSN Cohort 82 application deadline is approach. We can use this to share stats, keep eachother up to date as deadlines approach, interview letters sent out, help in preparing for interviews and of course encouraging eachother along the way. 

 

To start, I will be applying with a 3.838 GPA (nursing core classes) and 92 TEAS score. 

For anyone who has gone through the process or knows others who have gone through, do you think this will be competitive enough?

Hi!! 
im also applying to the same cohort!! I have a 4.0 GPA and an 88.7 on TEAS! Excited but scared since I know it's super competitive at National!

Hello !!
I'm applying to the same cohort as well! I have a 3.95 GPA and scored an 84 on the TEAS. I'm excited but also a bit nervous since my TEAS score is on the lower side.

Hi everyone! I'm submitting my application for Cohort 82 within the next couple of days and I'm beyond nervous!! I have a 3.575 GPA and scored a 92.7% on the TEAS.

Des anyone know the acceptance rates for this cohort?

I don't know exactly for this cohort, it depends on how many applicants there are but I read that NU BSN program acceptance rate is about 55% on average but it was not published from NU so I'm not sure how accurate that is

Good luck all! The application deadline is tomorrow. Hopefully we will know in a couple weeks if we move on to the interview!

Hello everyone!

I'm applying as well. Kind of nervous when we're going to get the reject/interview email, so I found this forum. This thread has so few people compared with the last cohort 81. I hope this means that this cohort will be less competitive and so we get a greater chance to be accepted.

I'm hoping we will know by Friday! I keep checking my email in case they are early. 🙂

My pre-reqs have a 4.0 and 96 for TEAS. But I don't have any previous clinical experiences at all, which stresses me out.

Based on the discussion from the previous cohort:

- submission deadline: 11/8 — 2/14

- interview notice: 11/22 — est. 3/3

- interview: 12/16 — est. 3/24

- offer: 12/23 (or as much as 2-3 weeks) — est. 4/4

- rejection & wait-list: 1/3 — est. 4/18

You have excellent scores. Congratulations! 
 

I don't have clinical experience either but I'm sure that won't work against you. Focus on your life experiences and how that has shaped your decision yo pursue a career in nursing. I think they want to get a feel of your dedication, personality and motivation for going into nursing. You got this! 😃
