On two occassion a medicial director verbally abuse me unprovoked. What do I do legally? I am a traveling nurse. The first time I have 5 other nurses that witness the episode. I brought to the attention of the ADN. This time I wrote a formal complaint (was also witnessed by other workers). I forward email it to the HR, VP of all department, The President of the hospital.

Hello, rn91,:balloons:

I would submit a report to the agent of your travel company as well. Also, be sure to make an appointment with HR and/or the DON/Administration of the facility to have an official meeting. Keep very detailed documentation with signatures of the witnesses. Seek legal counsel/advice if you do not get adequate representation with the powers that be of the facility.

Thanks. I will not be returning to the faculty and can not work in a hostile place. I will however follow up to make sure things are follow up.

Please, follow-up! Don't let this win you. Stand up for your rights!:saint:

You'll get a better job anyways, you certainly don't have to work for theses people.

I am sure you will help others by complaining via the proper channels.

Nobody have to endure abuse not at home, not at the workplace.

Proud of you,
