Nassau Community College Transcript ?

Does anyone know if Nassau Community College wants official or unofficial transcripts? I would assume official, but since we submit them ourselves rather than having them sent from the school, that sort of renders the whole "official" part moot, doesn't it. Does anyone know the answer? I attended the info session last semester and now I can't remember!

I would assume they want official. More and more schools are now requiring students to submit their transcripts at one time, in one envelope--so yes, they do come directly from the student, but they must still be official and in the sealed envelopes.

If you currently attend NCC and are just doing a "Change of Program" then you jut need the student copies and they can be UNOFFICIAL. I attend NCC and just dropped off my application today which consisted of my unofficial copy of my transcript from NCC and Suny Farmingdale and the paper you have to fill out there. If you attend a different school you must apply to NCC, pay the $40 application fee and have all OFFICIAL transcripts sent to the school.

I don't know where I got May from....it's in my head from somewhere. Maybe the nursing info session I attended last year. Therefore, just disregard me if you know it's April! After all of the excitement, nervousness and anticipation with this process, I'm surprised I remember my own name, nevermind the date we find out!:)

Haha I'm not really sure if it's April or not. I know Farmingdale and Suffolk said mid April so I'm hoping NCC is the same thing. I mean people need to start making their schedules so we have to know around April-ish ya know?? Ahhh

I'm trying not to think about it to much. Of course, you know that's not working! By May, I'm sure the mailman will be throwing my mail on the lawn just to avoid me. I can be somewhat OCD!:) It would be terrific to find out in April. Either way, I just want to know.
