Hi! Is anyone applying this Spring this semester ?
How many points do you have? Do you have any information about last semesters statistics? Thanks!
Ncchopeful said:Hey guys,
I'm planning to apply for the program myself but emailed the nursing department for a few points of clarity, maybe someone here can help me as well. As the process goes, you just email the nursing department the application form filled out, along with your unofficial transcript and your TEAS scores? You don't have to do any other applying anywhere else, just email them those three pieces of requested info?
Someone I know that was a matriculated student at NCC said he applied last year through a link to admissions. Also as far as the unofficial transcript goes, I can access mine on MyNCC portal and the Academic link, but when I open and look at my unofficial transcript I don't see anywhere to download and save it as a PDF so I can email them. Did you guys just screenshot it and send it over as a screenshot?
If I did my math correct, I have a total of 156.5 points. 121.5 being from the prereq. classes, and 35 from my TEAS scores.
Reading - 87.2
Math - 91.2
Science - 65.9 (Ouch, I know)
English - 87.9
I've heard mixed things about getting an additional 5 points for being a Nassau Resident (which I'm not), and others saying another 5 points from never being in a program. Anyone have any clarity on those two?
Extra 10 points for Nassau residents and 5 if you've never failed out of a program.

I believe the lowest score last semester for day was 140, but for nights is 50% less seats and the scores are much higher

How were you able to apply to two nursing programs at once? I was trying to apply to two different programs but the schools requires that you first become a student for that school and then apply for the following semester.
