Hi everyone! I've noticed that a forum has yet to be made for Nassau's nursing program for the Spring of '24, so I decided to make one ?.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and hoping we can support one another throughout this process!

Thank you!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high just because I haven't gotten anything official and it was just the generic registration email they send each semester, but I really do hope it's foreshadowing ?! Thanks again though :D

Also good luck everyone! I've yet to receive anything just yet
Appreciate it, but unfortunately I didn't. TBH I would've been very surprised if I had got in. A good chunk of my prereqs I got awful grades from years ago when I was immature. Hopefully I'll get to fix that in these next couple of semesters.
Good luck to everyone here!

I'm sorry to hear that :(. Best of luck to you next time around though and major props for never giving up!

What were your grades for the TEAS and did you finsih all the pre reqs? I got a 95.5 in science and 89.9 in math but 80.2 and 81.9 in reading and writing. I also only have 3 pre reqs done. So I did not get accepted.

Does anyone have any idea of what the job prospects are post ADN? I would prefer NCC from a financial perspective but was also accepted into a private BSN program. I have heard it's difficult to find a job in NY with an associates RN. Ideally I would start working before the RN to BSN program portion begins at empire. Thanks!
