Hi everyone! I've noticed that a forum has yet to be made for Nassau's nursing program for the Spring of '24, so I decided to make one ?.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and hoping we can support one another throughout this process!
LazyLlama said:@J Tl I appreciate your advice more than you know, thank you so much! One more thing I've been wondering that I've heard in past years: are you able to use calculators for med dosage? How did you find those quizzes? Thank you again!
Do test banks from the textbooks. And yes you are allowed to use calculators. Not sure who started the rumors you can't. Most times you don't even need them though tbh.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions, you've been such a big help! I'll let you know once decisions come out because I'm absolutely interested in your textbook, which should hopefully be very soon! Thanks again, best of luck to you with everything!
Hi @Future RN 20256 ! I got an email about Spring 2024 registration to my NCC email the other day and there was a line that read: "According to our records, your current major is Nursing Day.”
I've yet to get a letter or anything official, but I'm hopeful that's a very good sign ?. Best of luck to you! I'm hopeful acceptances will go out fairly soon since this is the only school I haven't heard anything from yet.

Thank you!! I'm currently a non-degree student as well since I'm currently enrolled in Pathophysiology since it's the last pre-req I need. I believe I should be at ~167.

Not a Nassau resident and was previously in a nursing program (started off my studies in 2020 and struggled to get the adequate grade for my original program in A&P while it was exclusively online).
So, my points would be at 167, but if it's (-5) for previously being in a program, I'd be at 162. Hope this helps, good luck everyone!

Go for Dr Murphy, Heslop and Mendelson for 101 203 and 204. Not sure about 105. I'm not sure how they're playing the whole BSN/ADN program now cause I was the first cohort to do it. But ESC was bothersome and I ended up transferring out cause I was working after I got my degree and didn't have time to find a clinical site. I'd definitely recommend doing test bank questions if you can find them to prep for tests. 101 isn't difficult but it's a lot of general nursing stuff. 105 is when you start doing med surg and it'll be more focused. Clinicals will seem daunting but they're pretty boring and you just have to seem busy in front of instructors.
