NAPNES

Are there any members of NAPNES around? I am considering joining them , however, I want to be sure this organization is good for LPNs. Is it a good organization to join? Have you taken any of thier courses? How did you find the information they provided? Please any information/opinions will be appreciated and considered.

Thank You

Do not see what benefit it would be. Money better used to put gas in my car to go to work, when I have work.

When I did a pharmacology course in 1988, upon completion I received my NAPNES card. I already belonged to OAPNES (the Ohio association) from the pharmacology course taught in my PN school. I've never received anything from NAPNES concerning yearly dues or anything. I used to get literature from the state LPNAO association, but when I was on disability couldn't afford the dues. Any lectures or anything were always far from where I lived so it really didn't benefit me.
