has anyone ever done an assignment at Naples hospital? I am wondering because they seem to have lots of openings and they have them each year. I understand the seasonal thing, I live in florida but I would think that if they were a good hospital they would have more returning. I'm just wondering. Thanks!

Heard through the grapevine that they cancelled all travel contracts last year. Ask about that if you are thinking of an assignment.
Thanks! I will ask them about it.

I've heard it's a good hospital, but they do a lot of in house traveling contracts so maybe they utilize those people instead of travelers. I interviewed for in house traveler but the pay wasn't great. The nurse ratio and technology sounded good though.

This is soooo right!! I did a travel assignment there 10 years ago. The ratio was 10 to 1 on night shift. I often got floated in the middle of my shift. Sometimes i would even get floated to another hospital across town. I once had to stop my shift at midnight and drive across town to their sister hospital , where i was given a terrible assignment. Run Run Run !!!!!

The logic and Slogans don't fit.Customer service ..low cost healthcare. They care nothing about safety. proven by their staffing, salary, and etc... Placing incompetents in administration play mind games, (covert) behavior. They demoralize nursing staff treating them as Inferior...Bullies.. Other county is the same.......look at the JOB Board... Don't let your name be on any record.... RUN

If you want to stay in Florida and can travel, check out Vero Beach or Sebastian. Stay away from Ft. Pierce!
I also have been getting a lot of messages from recruiters for Jupiter, and I heard that at least one of the
main hospitals in Jupiter was a great place to work. Good luck.
