Napa Valley College Spring 2020

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone applied to the Napa Valley College ADN program for Spring 2020?

Does anyone know when we are supposed to hear back regarding acceptance? My anxiousness is at an all time high, especially since if I don't get in here, I'll likely have to go to a private college and I really would rather go to a CC.

I was wondering if anyone has got a confirmation of your packet being received. I’m just been wondering if my application made it to their department since I didn’t get a tracking number when I mail it.

Confirmation from Napa? No, but I sent mine return receipt and priority with tracking, so it was confirmed that they received it via those 2 things.

I included my receipt confirmation with the time inside the envelope, but I did not pay for priority mailing with the tracking number. For this reason, I’m just worry if it even made it to the school since I can’t track it down. But, hopefully they got it. Thanks for the reply.

I am an alternate! Does anybody know how many alternates there are? Also, how many times a week would classes/clinicals are? And last question! For those that do not live near Napa are you moving to Napa?

Hi! There are 2 groups of 10 alternates each. They’re separated by time. Their website says T/W are clinical days and M/TH are lecture days. They give a sample schedule online. I’m 45 minutes-1 hour away and I’ll be commuting because there’s not much traffic after Hwy 4.

That’s a lot of alternates. It sucks not knowing which number I am. That would be a lot of commuting for 4 days a week. And okay hopefully I see you there!

When did you get your email? That will let you know what wave alternate you’re in. Also, were you invited to attend the orientation? The orientation space holds the 40 + the first 10 alternates.
