I've come up with a few nursing diagnoses for the nursing students. Please add yours!

Risk for decreased mobility related to excessive textbook reading

Noncompliance with personal hygiene regimen related to increased studying

Disturbed body image related to ciel mock wrap scrub top (my clinical uniform).

Risk for impaired skin integrity related to length of lecture.

Readiness for enhanced religiosity related to upcoming NCLEX exam.

Risk for impaired respiratory function r/t brown-nosing the faculty after every exam. :D

Pain, Acute, r/t bladder distention and lower abdominal pressure caused by lecture.

Specializes in Emergency.

Anxiety R/T clinical rotations, tough exams and strict instructors AEB tachycardia, tachypnea, diaphoresis, loss of appetite, diarrhea, less than 4 hours of sleep Qday (the AEB's go on and on)

Specializes in Telemetry, ICU.
...Readiness for enhanced religiosity related to upcoming NCLEX exam...

My fav :yeah:

What about:

Ineffective coping R/T overwhelming stress AEB excessive chocolate intake

Specializes in ICU, Intermediate Care, Progressive Care.

Imbalanced nutrition (more than body requirements) R/T excessive fast food consumption secondary to lack of time to do anything other than study AEB student states "McDonald's is gourmet now that I'm in nursing school" and student has gained 20 pounds in the last month.

Edit: Is it bad that I came back and edited this because I realized that the AEB didn't accurately support the nursing dx? :lol2:
