I just want to get a sense of how much new grad would get paid (if they can land a job) in Colorado.

I know most hospitals here start new grads off around $21-23 per hour and more depending on the shift differentials and all that.

My best friend just got hired on as a new grad in Denver and is making $25/hr. She is working nights though too which is a $4 differential so ultimately she is making $29/hr as a new grad! Im jealous! I hope I am that lucky once I graduate and start looking for jobs in May!

I work in sub acute rehab and started days as a new grad for $28/hr. I have interviewed other places recently though and they are starting at $26.
ETA- I graduated in Dec 09 and passed NCLEX before the end of 2009. I couldn't get a hospital job to save my life, but it worked out okay in the end. Many of us didn't get hospital jobs though.
Did you work in LTC?

It's skilled rehab, and one unit that is LTC. I have worked a few shifts in the LTC unit but it's primarily skilled.

Hello! I am a new grad from Michigan. I started off at $24.95 and once I passed my NCLEX, I went up to $27.95. I also work nights so I am loving that premium pay!! :)
That's awesome that you found a job even before you passed NCLEX!
Thanks! My hospital even reimbursed me the $200 NCLEX fee when I passed. I got very lucky!!
