I just wanted to say to all that have been supportive THANKS!!

Just for clarification:

1. I can't walk into WalGreens and get a prescription history that is over 18 months old, that has to be done thru WalGreens corp offices.

2. I DO have documentation.

3. I am not throwing out race card..I said it was possible

4. I haven't had an anxiety attack since 07 haven't even come close to having one. I freaked out b/c it was the first time I was passing meds and my teacher is a dragon slayer(demeaning and insulting) that would scare anybody

5. Our policy states that we can miss no more than 2 rotations per semester

6. Our policy also states that immunizations are current...I mean thats a given this is America

7. I said something about culture b/c somebody said I should let my culture go to be a nurse.

8. I didn't speak to anybody at my school when I was dismissed from the program b/c it was clinicals and there aren't any nursing staff available on Monday or Tuesday. I filed an appeal and was told to wait.

9. Yes the attrition rates at my school are extremely high, the highest in the state

10.My institution also did not require us to divulge any medical illnesses..Period

11.I understand this is a matter of safety, but it was mild and I was already nervous and scared so I didn't want to make a mistake and get a 0 in clinicals for a medication error.

12. If I offended anybody by "saying" race card or identifying with my culture. I apologize, things like that doesn't happen in America. :D

Allnurses supports our members by allowing them to vent their frustrations as well as share their experiences and joys. We certainly invite you to do the same, however, it is best to close this thread on this particular subject because it may rehash the storm that was lashed out yesterday.
