I recently finished my TEAS test and im worried about my results. I dont know if they are good or bad. Are my chances of being accepted into nursing school good??

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 85.9%

Mean National - 72.8%

National Mean Program - 77.4%

Percentile Rank National - 93%

Percentile Rank - Program: 85%

Yes its good but it depends on your school. 15 percent of the people scored higher than u.

I've seen a lot of these questions, and I've come to the conclusion that your percentile rank for the program is the true indicator of "how good" your score is. I say that because I would suspect that a particular program is going to pick those that do the best for that testing group for that school.

In other words, you are being put in competition with each other for a spot, so any determination of a "good score" must be in comparison with others who are looking to enter the same school at the same times as you are.

I don't know if the program percentile is based on all cohorts (those who have taken it for a previous start date mixed in with new incoming students) or if it's reset for each new incoming class (your percentile rank only within the class that would start the same time as you). So, how admissions treats your score would depend on how the percentile is figured.

Good luck!
