Hello everyone this is my first post here. I graduated from nursing school last august. I took my NCLEX RN shortly after finishing. I had 265 questions and failed. I reviewed all of my nclex books etc and retook it and had 265 questions again and failed. I then took a different approach, I started at the very begining and went through everything and answered a few thousand questions. I went in took it and it shut off at 83 questions and I failed. So I decided to take yet another route and I took the kaplan course. I scored mid to low 60's on all my tests etc. Well I went in today June 19th and retook my nclex. I had about 5 SATA questions, 4 Dosage calc questions that I know I got right, about 20 or 30 Priority questions and about 20 communication questions ex. Which statement if made by the nurse is best. With my history with the exam I am very stressed out and do not think I passed! I will know soon enough though. Anyone have any advice. I am 99% sure I failed so any advice would be perfect! Thank You

There really is no way to know if you passed until you get your results. Everyone is going to second guess themselves after they walk out and most feel like they failed. Try to relax as best you can for now as you deserve a break. I wish you the best in getting positive results.

Welcome
Everyone thinks they have failed the exam, best thing to do is wait for the results and then take it from there.
Good luck

Hi Skyhawk22,
Sounds like my story. not sure if you want to hear from me, because I am still in my journey to pass. Haven't passed yet. But This is going to be my fifth time to take this exam. I approached things differently this time, by starting over and re-reviewing the Saunders book, and approaching the SATA questions, and also currently, studying the kaplan question trainer.
I test next week, and the last time I took the exam, it shut off me at 105 and I thought I passed, but in my mind, realized that I didn't cover enough content.
So this time around, i know where I went wrong and that is I needed more content to review.
I will continue on, until I pass this exam. I can't let it stop me now, and the rest of us will keep it moving as well. My reply to you is just to let you knwo you are not alone. I didn't realize that other people here had the same story as me, and on the same journey path as me. Let's continue on the journey until we hit the destination of our new careers.
The NCLEX cannot define us as professionals, we just ahve to get through the hurdle.
Good luck to you, never doubt it until you get your results.
