Just wanna say don't focus too much on scores. I have been visiting this site whole summer. Every time I come here I get scared looking at other people's scores and go into picnic mode thinking I am dumb. So those of you who didn't get good scores don't worry. Just pay attention when you are doing questions and while reviewing look up topics you don't know about!

Do not panic! You can do it! You have survived nursing school you will also cross this hurdle. You are smart! Good luck.

Ps: I can see my license no on website. Does that mean I passed?

Yes!! Congrats!!! Thanks for this post!!! :)

Well said, totally agree!

congrats!!!! Congrats to all New RN's. This is sure a great accomplishment. I hope I feel as happy and excited as you guys in two weeks when I sit down for my boards. I am as well doing Kaplan and Lacharity. Do you think that Kaplan is very similar to NCLEX or easier? By the way if you can see your name, YES that means you passed (responding to the P.S.). Enjoy!

How many questions did you end up doing on the NCLEX?

Do you think that Kaplan is very similar to NCLEX or easier?

Kaplan is setup the same way as NCLEX. So once your screen will turn on you will see the same screen you saw on your computer :) I remember saying to myself.... "You are at home, you are taking another Kaplan test practice"

Also, there were questions I felt like I saw them before. Or maybe they were just asking the same but questions was worded differently?

I knew I am not going to know everything so I had to find the way to try answer correctly without knowing the correct answer ;) Kaplan helped me with it. I did qBank and all those questions were higher application style.

Good luck!

wow nice to know that the screen was very similar. I get a little worried about the SATA. Miss Piggy RN also can you tell me of you honest opinion of my Kaplan grades because I feel like I'm not doing that great lol. I got:

Diagnostic: 73

Readiness: 65

Q trainers:

1 - 60

2 - 73

3- 58

4 - 74

5 - 61

6 and 7 - taking next week before nclex

Q bank - 67 percent done with a cumulative 61 percent. planning to finish this week to 90 percent done

Thanks.

ahhhhh.....who is taking the nclex soon?

I got very similar scores with a 72% on both QT6 and QT7; these are very much similar to how the NCLEX was. I took the NCLEX on Saturday and passed in 75 questions...I found the test to be very similar to Kaplan and even found some of if easy. Based on your scores I think you will feel the same.

I didn't have q trainers. Only qBank. My average was 61%. I passed with 116 questions.

You will do great!

Good luck!

Thank you everyone...thanks for being supportive. I will tell you how I did in two weeks lol....I can't wait to be done with this and officially be a RN.

For me personally, I only used Kaplan. The kaplan screen is exactly the same as whats on real nclex that made it a little better when I was taking nclex. I found kaplan and NCLEX some what same. But SATA's are def easier on nclex. You will do great. Study smart. Good luck.
