I am a certified nursing assistant i am working here in california for almost 14 months. I"m a filipina. I'm married to american guy. He is a registered nurse. I got my green card last month i decided to take my LVN Program here in CA, but the community college start their program on 2015. My husband wants me to go to the philippines to take a LVN or RN. My question is how long it takes me to LVN/PN/RN program? Do i need to take some exam to be qualified in that program?.How much its cost me to take that class? For example i wanna take that program to ST PAUL,Manila.I appreciated if anyone can advice me.

Sincerely,

I highly suggest you stick it out in CA or any other State and be very careful if you decide to get your degree in the Phils. Suggest you read ALL the issues and problems facing any recent PH grads trying to their RN license in the States.

Go to the "World" forum, click the International section, then "Nurse Registration".

Here's one of many many topics on why you should get your education in the states:

There are other links in that thread, read those.

I know the cost of going to the Phils is way way cheaper but there's a price to be paid at the end. Good luck!

Thank You so much for the advice...I appreciate it! GOD BLESS!!
