It seems like if I'm pregnant light duty, my hospital would not help me find jobs. What jobs can you recommend for a Med Surg pregnant RN on light duty.
Dear Expecting,
If your doctor puts you on light duty for your pregnancy, the hospital is not obligated to provide light duty.
It's often different with light duty from an industrial accident-some employers do provide light duty in those cases, such as auditing, or working in a non-patient care department, such as Employee Health.
in your case, the hospital would probably rather you use up your benefit time than provide light duty.
