HI Guys!
Would you know if GrandFall NL hire nurses from the Philippines right now? My brother is being assesed by SRNA to sit for CRNE. We are looking for an employer since Saskatchewan health region freezed stop hiring International Educated Nurse. Are they willing to give a job offer to my brother if ever he is eligible to take the exam? thanks!
Thank You
Hello
You contact one of the NL regional health authorities. They have been appointing IENs. But your friend will have to get the eligibility letter from ARNNL before attending an interview. I also have been waiting for a decision from SRNA for the last 7 months .They might be very tight with the number of applicants. If you want to work in Canada don't stick on one province. This is my understanding. Present time is too bad for IENs. I was trying for a job at three provinces simultaneously.

Congrats on the job offer!
I am starting to go through the process to get licensed in Canada (new brunswick and Manitoba). I am a canadian citizen and just completed an ADN nursing degree in the U.S. This process is very intimidating with all the paper work and making sure that all the correct documents get in! They told me it will take less than 6 months to have my file evaluated in New Brunswick and Manitoba told me 6 months to a year, so if I work in Canada I will most likely be heading to the Atlantic! I'm just wondering if those of you who have been through this process could give me some advice. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

In addition to alwayspositive's advice, there is a good overview about how to become a RN in Newfoundaland available on this site http://www.practicenl.ca/nursing/media/PresentationforIENs-July1409.pdf
