My company is being taken over by DaVita can anyone tell me what to expect? I am an RN that just started in dialysis about 4 months ago.
What are the wages for the nurse or tech? How is the health insurance? How much do you pay for health insurance and what is the deductable?
Do they keep the staff? Do you have to apply for your position??
If anyone can help ease my mind I would greatly appreciate it.

I find it interesting that they havent told you or offered support in the matter. I would think that a more reliable sorce for that information would be your HR department or administrator.
The administrators don't know the answers. Seems as if they
are just guessing.
So, I thought if anyone went through the same thing they would
have some information to share with me.
are you currently with a for profit company? If so I wouldn't expect many changes. if you are a non profit the staffing situation may change depending on how your set up is already. really anything anyone would answer here would just be shots in the dark and guesses because any take over is different based on the needs of the particular clinic.

Expect a headache and belittling. Only the Davita way of things is the "right way" You will be looked down on. Just my experience, not nessarily others during the Gambro buyout a few years ago.
