I did my finger print as part of the protocol for nursing school on October 31. Till this day, Ive not received anything, blue card, letter, nothing. So I called the TBON, and I was told that something appeared on my background check, so they're going to send me a DO letter (something to that effect). Man, im so worried. I've never been arrested or been involved in any crime, so I see no reason why anything would appear on my CBC. what other rain could there be? Or is this just a mistake?

Mistakes happen. A friend was turned down for teaching jobs left and right UNTIL she discovered that they were doing background checks on the wrong "Jane Jones" whose SSNwas a transposed digit away from hers. (The other Jane Jones was a VERY naughty girl!)
Oh? But I did the fingerprint check so no mistake should be made. I'm really worried. That said they'd send me a letter.
They run the background check and seldom do anything except file your fingerprints. They don't run your prints 'through the database' like on TV.
