In case anyone wants to join me in complaining about this class....feel free....another technically challenging course.

I'll join. It's not the class, the work, the professor, or the TA that is the problem. It is all of the glitches, broken links (to the syllabus and book of all things) that are making me crazy! I've spent more time on the phone with worthless tech support (they were all nice but couldn't fix the issues) than I have spent on the class work. Oh wait, I haven't done ANY class work yet because of tech issues.
For online classes, OU has certainly had its share of technology issues. When you spend the first week of class trying to solve technology issues on OU's end and not yours, it sets a negative tone for the next four weeks. Not to mention that instead of getting the work done early, you feel you are always playing catch up.
Did the last two classes also have tech issues or are we just privileged? ;-).

Are you currently in the class using the free 3 week trial? This link, for many of the sections never worked! I will PM you with the link I used for the book and connect. It was in the mini syllabus. I'll have to go back and see if I can find it. If I'm not mistaken, it was purchased directly from McGraw-Hill. It takes about a week to get the book.
Hey the professor thought we were using a CD with our text. Do these people actually keep track of their own class??? She had to adjust some test questions...Can't wait for this to be over.
I ordered the custom bundle listed and all I got was a book and card for the McGraw-Hill website. The book was $100 although the class info mentioned $85. There was never any mention of buying a CD was there? I priced the CD set and if you buy it new, yikes! By the time it got delivered, the class would be half done. Was this course always in Blackboard?
I told the TA we didn't have CDs just the card. She relayed that to the professor. I guess it changed for our class. That's when she realized she had to adjust some questions. I thought all but nursing was on BB in the past.

It wasn't a bad class when I took it. I had the book and did something through blackboard to link something to access info from blackboard. It was relatively easy in that aspect. It was my first blackboard class and had little issues with it. I took it last January, maybe things have changes since I took it...
Dislike this class more this week than last week...just sayin....
Oh c'mon. You know you really love Baroque and Opera. You are just afraid to admit it! ;-). I feel a little more relaxed with tech issues out of the way and an idea as to how the tests work. I still have no clue what I'm doing, but with only 3.5 weeks left, I can do anything. Besides that, we have a nice break coming up.
Hang in there! You can do this!
it will be over in no time! Im mad that some of the quizes do not allow you to go back and see what you missed....tsk tsk Music class!
I write down the answers each time until I get it right. I took one of the quizzes 8 times to get100%, lol. It's crazy.
